A Wee Touch o' Class

Edinburgh New Town's nouveau riche are sent up in this 'Bourgeois Gentilhomme', adapted from Molière by the late Rikki Fulton. The script, while simplifying and abridging the original, stays true to Molière's comic intentions, with word-play, puns, innuendo and asides to the viewer.

The action takes place in a new room in Archibald Jenner's new house in Edinburgh's fashional "New Town".

Our 2008 Edinburgh Festival Fringe produciton was directed by Alex Purves and Matt Mason. It earned a 4-star review from the Edinburgh Evening News and from the online site One4review.com, and was runner-up in the Evening News drama awards.
